About International Maji Scientific Conference

Water Institute organising an International Maji Scientific Conference which provides a platform for presentation and discussion of water research, practices, and experiences to empower and sustain the sector toward the UN’s 2030 goal of safe water and sanitation for all. For 2024, the conference aims to provide a platform where practitioners within the sector will share their operational experiences in ensuring water and sanitation services are meeting the needs of all as policy stipulates, and researchers will deliver their feedback responding to current sectoral prevailing challenges, and also take home introduced research areas of interest for future further work. Abstracts are welcomed in line with the conference focus and spearheading momentum towards achieving SDG 6.
